This adults-only, romantic luxury destination is at its peak in February (engagement season!) as couples flock to the ultra-private Twin Farms hotel to celebrate with their Valentine. Days are filled with skiing on the private slopes and nights are filled with romantic candlelit dinners in the comfort of your own private cottage overlooking the Green Mountains. Sit by the fire and drink wine and eat cheese, and do some Stave Puzzling (some of the world's most expensive puzzles!).
The Roundtree, Amagansett, Amagansett, New York
Fall in love out East at the newest Hamptons property, The Roundtree. Couples can enjoy night caps on the lawn under the stars, cozy up by the fire pit with evening s'mores, or book in-room couples massages in partnership with renowned wellness brand, Naturopathica. Mayflower Inn & Spa, Washington, CT
It’s no secret the Mayflower Inn & Spa is a popular destination (and only a two hour drive from NYC!) For the Inn’s centennial birthday in fall 2020, Celerie Kemble oversaw a dramatic redesign encompassing guest rooms and suites, Mayflower’s signature restaurant, and the Inn’s historic main house, featuring a charming parlor. This luxury country retreat is set on 58-acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands, and has 35 guest rooms. Along with the redesign, the hotel opened THE WELL at Mayflower Inn in December, a 20,000 square-foot spa sanctuary featuring the Pool House, with a greenhouse style all-season pool, traditional hammam and a new Biophilic Thermal Pool. There’s nothing we love more than hitting the Hamptons offseason—it’s so peaceful and quiet! Talk about the perfect Valentine’s Day escape. Baron’s Cove, located in the center of Sag Harbor, is such an appealing getaway. The nautical designed 67-room hotel has rooms overlooking the harbor and village, and not to mention this hotel is dog-friendly. Take a bike ride through town, or cozy up with some coffee on the Lawn. For Valentines’ Day, the restaurant is kicking it up a notch. Executive Chef Nick Vogel and team will be cooking up a 3-course prix-fixe dinner that will be available Valentine's Day weekend only (2/13, 2/14).
