Ariel’s 10 Favorite Clean Beauty Must-Haves

CLEAN ROUTINE

It’s no secret that we all love clean beauty over here at AOI! As fans of Goop (and designers of their NYC office), we know firsthand the power of clean, plant based beauty – and we definitely love their namesake skincare line, too. Inspired by Ariel’s clean beauty routine (which she started when she found out she was pregnant!) we rounded up ten of her must-have clean products below.

1. Westman Atelier Makeup: Every single product from makeup artist to the stars Gucci Westman’s clean beauty line is absolutely luxurious. Hard working, plant based, and truly gorgeous when applied, we all adore this good-for-your-skin makeup line. Ariel’s personal favorite is the Baby Cheeks Blush and the mascara. (Not to mention: the packaging is divine.)

2. Goop Exfoliating Instant Facial: Essentially a three minute chemical peel under the guise of a face mask, the Exfoliating Instant Facial will slough off all dead, dull skin and leave you shiny, rosy and glowy – all without any nasty ingredients. What more could you ask for?

3. Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum: The most reliable workhorse in our skincare kit. Hydrating, exfoliating and toning all in one, this is the one “desert island” skincare product that Ariel can’t live without.

4. Olio E Osso Balm: This clean lip and cheek balm is incredibly hydrating and still packs a punch in the tint department. We’ve found the French Melon shade to be universally flattering, and particularly love it when used on lips and cheeks together. A great alternative to petroleum based lip products!

5. Kosas Tinted Face Oil: The ultimate in moisturizing foundations. This sheerest of sheer face oils leaves you glowing up, for real. Layer on top of a clean sunscreen and set with a talc-free powder and you’re in business.

6. Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser: We happen to love the little beads that manually exfoliate your skin in cleansers, but so many of them are made of plastic. The little exfoliating powerhouses in this cleanser are environmentally friendly, since they’re made of biodegradable apricot microspheres. Think of it as a good-for-the-planet skin polish.

7. Goop Replenishing Night Cream: Warm it up in your hands before applying, and let it sink in before bedtime. You’ll be radiant by morning.

8. Goop Enriching Face Oil: The perfect daytime face oil under sunscreen and light makeup. Never pills!

9. Briogeo Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner: Smells like Neroli and leaves fine hair amped up – yes, please.

10. Native Deodorant in Coconut + Vanilla: The first clean deodorant we’ve found that works hard and doesn’t stop working after a few hours. The coconut vanilla scent is delicious.
